Skiathos

THE MARINA

The Marina is situated in the main port of Skiathos. The main street is a 5-minute walk from the quay and a 24-hour taxi stand is also within the marina. The ride from the marina to the airport is 5 minutes (it is in a walking distance). The prevailing winds in this area are mostly N-NE at Force 2-5, which usually die down during the night. No particular hazards in the marina, but beware of ferries and hydrofoils. Do not anchor inside the airport cone (zone). No vessel with height over 4 meters can anchor in the airplanes landing path.

FACILITIES

Water is available on the quay. Fuel is delivered on the quay by a mini tanker. Moreover there are many quality taverns, restaurant, cafes and bars are located by the sea front, as well as in the centre of the village. Above the old harbour, you will find an excellent selection of restaurants with magnificent view. There are two supermarkets within walking distance of the marina, each open 7 days a week from 08:00 to 22:00.
