THE MARINA

Kos Marina is situated in the Gulf of Kos, facing the Turkish coast. It is 25 km from Kos International Airport. The taxi ride from the airport to the marina takes about half an hour. From May to October, the prevailing wind in the area of the Dodecanese Islands blows from the N, NW at Force 4-6B.The shoals extending from Akrotiri Ammoglossa should be given a good offing. There are strong gusts into the bay with the meltemi.

FACILITIES

Fuel Station is located at the fuel dock next to the slipway, which is located next to the marina in the South. In case of south winds re-fuelling is taking place at the entrance of the marina by a fuel wagon. Please refuel your yacht before you go to your berth. Water, electrical supply, telephone, cable TV and battery charger are available on the pier free of charge. Showers and toilets are also available. There is a restaurant and a cafeteria inside the Marina and a number of taverns, restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance of the harbour. Inside the Marina there is a Mini Market with a variety of products
