Athens Kalamaki

THE MARINA

Kalamaki Marina is the largest Marina in Greece, located 45 minutes from new Athens International Airport El. Venizelos and opposite our Head Offices. The Marina can be accessed by taxi and public bus, which departs every 15 minutes from the Athens International Airport. In the marina you can find hot water showers, a snack-bar/cafe, yacht chandlery, card-telephones and bus/taxi services to Athens, Piraeus and the airport (duration of travel to the airport approximately 45 minutes).

FACILITIES

Water & electricity on the pier are free of charge. Fuel is delivered at the pier by a fuel wagon. Within the marina there are snack-bar/café, several kiosks offering sandwiches and soft drinks, card-telephones, toilets and showers. Also, there is a variety of restaurants, including Greek and Italian cuisine, on and around Poseidonos Avenue. Although, there is no supermarket within the marina, there are a couple of them near it, providing a free of charge delivery service (groceries, water, ice cubes etc.) to the yacht. Ice-cubes could also be bought from the fuel station at the entrance of the marina.

Kalamaki marina (Alimos) at our reception or pier 3 and 2 (in the reseption of Royaleagle).

Distance:

From Athens International (El. Venizelos) airport - 32km (Approximately 60 - 70 minutes)

Public E 96 Bus (24hr. service) runs from Airport to Pireaus stopping outside Marina Kalamaki. Tickets purchase from the driver.

Supermarket:

Located at Poseidonos Avenue - opposite the marina entrance. 

There are also vans from supermarkets inside the Marina, working practically all hours but they are more expensive than normal supermarkets.

You may order your provisions (food) ahead of your departure though us.

**Provision (food) List available up on request. Restaurant, cafe, car and motor bike hire are also to be found nearby.

Embarkation Charter Documents Required:

• Passports or valid identity card (subject to the regulations valid for each nationality)
  
• Copy of Charter signed Contract o Sailing (or motor boat) licenses for two members of the crew or attestation of their sailing experience
  
• Crew list with names and passport numbers

Security Deposit:

Payable up on embarkation by cash or by Credit cards Visa / Mastercard It is very important we are informed of your arrival details. Our staff will wait for you until sunset. If your arrival is later than this you will board alone. Check-in procedures will take place the following morning.
